HELPING HANDS FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION
Helping Hands Food Pantry is part of a nationwide program, "Feeding America" and a regional program, "God's Pantry." Each Wednesday the Senior Center picks up food donations from local vendors (like Walmart and Kroger) that are ear the expiration date and distributes these items to anyone over 18 years of age who comes to the Center.

HOSPICE SERVICES

Lindsey Kampher from Bluegrass Care Navigators will join us to discuss the Hospice services and adult day care services that are available to people in Frankfort and Franklin County. 

KSU NUTRITION
Wednesday, November 28, 10 a.m.
This month nutrition specialists will discuss iron rich foods for every body. They will also demonstrate Hawaiian Turkey Sliders with mango Pineapple Salsa. 

FCCOA ANNUAL MEETING & ELECTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Tuesday, December 4, 9:30 a.m. 
Membership will elect 4 board members. 5 people have been nominated. Absentee ballots are available through close of business on December 3 in the office, 202 Medical Heights Drive.

MINUTE TO WIN IT FINAL COMPETITION

Our friends from Quantrell Subaru in Lexington will provide the vehicle; members will provide the non-perishable food items to fill it. 

HEALTHY EATING FOR THE HOLIDAYS, TAMERA THOMAS
Wednesday, December 19, 10 a.m.
Tamera Thomas, UK Extension Office, will join us with good tips for healthy holiday eating. She can help us look for healthy alternatives to those holiday buffets. 

SENIOR CENTER CHRISTMAS CHORUS CONCERT
Friday, December 21, 10 a.m.
Under the direction of Don Coffey, the Senior Christmas Chorus will present traditional holiday music. Please bring a donation of personal hygiene, cleaning and/or laundry supplies.
