HELPING HANDS FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION
Helping Hands Food Pantry is part of a nationwide program, "Feeding America" and a regional program, "God's Pantry." Each Wednesday the Senior Center picks up food donations from local vendors (like Walmart and Kroger) that are ear the expiration date and distributes these items to anyone over 18 years of age who comes to the Center. 
Food Pantry Distribution:   Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.

Bring a dish to share for pot luck at 5 p.m. Then stay for the monthly variety show at 6 p.m. Western is the theme this month. We can promise you'll be entertainment.

NURSING HOME OMBUDSMAN

Ombudsman Edna Quire will talk about the nursing home ombudsman program and the importance of the program to nursing home residents.

Gidgett and our friends from Kentucky State University Cooperative Extension Program will join us to talk about eating well on a budget and then they'll demonstrate and we'll taste making Salmon Patties.

Chef Shelley will check out what items will be available for the Thursday Helping Hands Food Pantry and will give tips about how to use the products and create delicious dishes using what's available.

Walgreen's pharmacist will talk about the new Shingles shot and answer questions you might have about your medications.
