HELPING HANDS FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION
Helping Hands Food Pantry is part of a nationwide program, "Feeding America" and a regional program, "God's Pantry." Each Wednesday the Senior Center picks up food donations from local vendors (like Walmart and Kroger) that are ear the expiration date and distributes these items to anyone over 18 years of age who comes to the Center. 
Food Pantry Distribution:   Thursdays, 11 a.m.

HOME ELECTRICAL SAFETY

This is the season when Kentuckians want to stay warm. And often they use a space heater to provide extra warmth. Many of us live in older homes with original wiring. Our old wiring may not be compatible with these new appliances and lugs. A representative from the Frankfort Fire Department will join us to provide tips for keeping our homes safe all year long.

ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING

Far too often we hear about an armed gunman opening fire at a concert, on the street, or at church. Sgt. Fields, Frankfort Police Department, will join us to give us tips about how to be aware of potential dangers and how to respond if we find ourselves in that most unfortunate situation.
