Today is the 100th anniversary of Veterans' Day. At 11 a.m. on November 11, 1918, major hostilities with Germany ended. And November 11, 1919 was the first Armistice Day. (Pres. Eisenhower changed the name in 1954.) Today we'll honor our Veterans at 10:30 a.m. And althought it's a day of honor and recognition, at 11 a.m. we'll observe a moment of silence.
